Carol Ozimek, President: 
Carol and her husband Jim have been living at Tahoe Donner full time since last Fall. In the last few years they have become increasingly interested in cross country skiing and snowshoeing, attracted by the wonderful trails at the TD Cross Country Center, the flexibility and affordability of Nordic skiing and not having to deal with lift lines! She is looking forward to meeting members, new and old, at our various sport and social functions this winter.
Jacky Poulsen, VP Treasury and Membership
Jacky started this club in the fall of 2006 and she’s thrilled with how it has evolved into an active, fun, exciting club with over 60 members and a terrific board. She and her husband Peter live in Livermore fulltime, but spend as much time in Tahoe Donner as they can, enjoying skiing, hiking, boating and all the other fun activities the area has to offer. Katia Campbell, VP Activities
Katia is from Switzerland and has been living in the Tahoe area for 
13 years. She left her hometown at age 21 and started to explore the world. Recently, she graduated from Truckee Meadows Community college. Additionaly, she concluded at certification program wth the International Guide Academy in Cuernavaca, Mexico and received and International Tour Manager Degree. She is a certified yoga and Pilates instructor, and has been teaching in the area for over 13 years. She has lots of experience in skiing, and is a former teacher of downhill and cross country skiing. She loves just any type of skiing. She has over ten pair of skis, and each has its purpose. She loves to swim in lakes, kayaking, boogie boarding, biking and hiking. Ceramics is one of her passions; she was a teacher at the University of Davis Craft Center, an art director at a charter school, and she worked for a professional potter. Traveling, gardening and cooking are some of her other passions as well. One of the most important people in her life is her husband Dave who spends all his time looking for the next bike ride or the next ski tour in the backcountry. Jerry Blackwill, Webmaster
Jerry has 20 years experience a
s a nordic ski webmaster - first with the Sierra Club and now with Tahoe Donner Nordic. As a Sierra Club leader, he led nordic ski trips to Yosemite, Yellowstone, and throughout the Sierras. He was chair of the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter Nordic Ski Section. He also served on the advisory committee that helped the California Department of Parks and Recreation set up the SnoPark program.
